OUR MISSION is to support parents raise their children on healthy organic food by producing affordable, quality organic meals that cater to babies with varied dietary needs, including halal, vegan, vegetarian and dairy free.

The story of Yamee Organic Baby began when it was time to introduce our son to solid food. Being health conscious parents aware of the many illnesses that result from unhealthy eating habits, we decided to put him on an exclusively organic diet. Drawing on our professional experience in the food industry, we cooked for him old-fashioned baby recipes that were nutritious and delicious. Each meal was prepared using traditional cooking techniques that enable the retention of heat sensitive nutrients, then delicately hand-blended to an even and age-appropriate texture. More importantly, we incorporated little or no water in the food so as not to lower the nutrient concentration. Our son thrived on the food we lovingly cooked for him.

On advice of his maternal nurse we prepared small-size batches and stored them in individual containers in the freezer. It made our life easy. If we were going out, all we had to do was reach into the freezer for a fresh-frozen tub of food, place it in an insulated bag and off we went.

We soon started preparing food tubs for the children of relatives and friends, particularly those that proved to be fussy eaters. The bubs and tots loved the food. Their parents loved us even more for lightening their daily load and giving them peace of mind with the knowledge that their children were eating high quality organic meals.

After this successful trial, we decided to launch our own brand of organic and halal baby food. We committed ourselves to creating yummy, healthy and convenient baby meals that are affordable for parents like us who otherwise would not be able to provide organic food for their children.

Yamee Organic Baby caters to varied health and cultural dietary needs and preferences with a wide selection of meals, including dairy free, vegan, vegetarian and halal meals.

Yamee is an environmentally friendly company that actively supports research in the field of biodegradable packaging. Since the biodegradable food packaging industry is still in its infancy, the best alternative we could find to packaging our baby and toddler meals is recyclable, BPA-free, plastic tubs. We are in close contact with several international research and manufacturing companies that come closer every day to commercialising environmentally friendly biodegradable food tubs suitable for the packaging of our fresh-frozen meals. Our goal is to switch to biodegradable packaging as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, we ask that you kindly dispose of Yamee plastic tubs in your recycling bin.
